I recently spent a week at the Olympic Hotel in Istanbul with my parents, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Whether it was providing us with local recommendations, helping us navigate the city, or ensuring our room was spotless and well-equipped, the service was impeccable. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with cozy rooms that were perfect for our family. The location is also ideal, with easy access to key attractions and transport links, making it a great base for exploring Istanbul. Breakfast was always a highlight of the day, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start our mornings off right. Overall, our stay at the Olympic Hotel was memorable, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. The friendly and helpful staff truly made a difference, and we look forward to returning!

The room is smaller than expected but exceeded my expectations. We had room 309 which had an amazing view, exactly as shown in the presentation pictures. We found the room clean with freshly washed towels and nice soft bedsheets. We have expected some slippers but we found the housekeeping lady which provide us 3 pairs. The receptionists were both very nice but, unfortunately our TV did not worked and none of them has been able to help us with the issue. The balcony is perfect for quiet nights, the view of our room was exactly the one from the picture on the site but , despite the daily cleaning, it was still dirty( due to seagulls and pigeons). Breakfast quite poor but satisfactory and just perfect for a good start of the day( we checked the prices of food, generally in the grocery stores and we realized that as it is so expensive we should be happy there is still a breakfast), the lady serving the breakfast was incredibly nice and humble, greeting us every day with a smile . We did smoked in the balcony!

Samet is an excellent employee at the hotel! He took excellent care of us and our transfer, providing tips on hidden gems and more affordable, better attractions that tourists might miss. He was truly great, and when the neighborhood faced a water outage overnight, he was well-prepared with water canisters to assist immediately. Additionally, he is genuinely personable. The hotel itself is a good choice in terms of value for money. The breakfast was good, and the view during breakfast was stunning, a solid 10/10! If new hairdryers and dishes like Menem are added, the hotel definitely deserves 6/5 stars, making it outstanding in terms of price/performance. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with affordable restaurants open 24/7 in the vicinity. The transfer was seamless; both during pickup and the journey to the airport, the bus was truly luxurious, making you feel like you're in a first-class setting.

Olimpic is in a perfect central location less than 10 mins walk from the Grand Bazaar and a 2in walk from the main Tram lines. The rooms are okay but the breakfast was really delicious with a variety of traditional Turkish and sufficient Western/European dishes - a really homely provision. The room was clean but fairly basic with a TV, tiny fridge and Air Conditioner. The staff are quite accommodating. There was a very cheap and well-stocked little supermarket (which the locals use as well) right across the street - shop here for essentials!

Super happy with our stay, we chose a room with a view to the water and were very much enjoying chilling on the balcony in the evenings. Beds were comfy and rooms were cleaned daily. Alex helped us to organise a transport to the airport for an early flight which was handy to not having to worry about it ourselves. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help whenever needed. And the breakfast included was fantastic with a good selection of local foods and some international. Good value for money and great location.
